Pharmacy Directorate and Staff
Our department’s directorate is located behind the main out-patient pharmacy on the ground floor of the main hospital building in Al-Hadiya Area in Al-Ahmadi Region. The pharmacy director is responsible for operating and managing the department by planning the staff distribution and organizing the responsibilities of each pharmacy and their staff to ensure safe and optimum workflow that complies with the department’s, hospital’s and ministry’s laws, policies and procedures.
Quality Improvement and Training Unit
About the Unit
The Unit is located in the pharmacy directorate on the ground floor of the main hospital building. The unit consists of the deputy director and the quality and safety officer. It focuses on improving the quality of work provided to our patients by following the Kuwait National Standards of Practice for Hospitals and seeking the Canadian Accreditation. The unit is also responsible for training and evaluating new staff members to ensure that they are ready and qualified to provide services for our patients.
