Radiology Department

About Us

The department is equipped with the most advanced facilities in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography and General Radiography. Also, CR (computerized radiography) is available, instead of viewing films by holding them up against light, the images are observed on an ordinary computer monitor screen; hence it is filmless and digital computer images are stored and integrated with PACS and RIS.

Our Services

  1. General Radiography
Radiation provides images of segments of the entire human body and soft tissue details.
Doing mammography and correlation with ultrasound. And accordingly doing FNAC core biopsy to the masses.
  2. Ultrasound
Is one of imaging modalities that do not use ionizing radiation. It is safe and non-invasive; hence it finds its most beneficial use in detection of early pregnancy. Excellent in detection of intra-abdominal solid organs like the liver, pancreas, gall bladder, neonatal intracranial hemorrhages, superficial organs, soft tissue and joints, uterine, ovarian and prostate pathology, and detection of fluid in body cavities. Color oppler study of arteries and veins. Its color flow imaging feature enhances diagnostic accuracy.
  3. Computed Tomography (CT-Scan)
Uses special x-ray equipment to obtain image data from different angles around the body, and then uses computer processing of the information to show a cross section of the body tissue and organs. This is particularly useful because it can show several types of tissue-lung, bone, soft tissue and blood vessels with great clarity.
  4. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Imaging modality that uses no-ionizing radiation and it is non-invasive procedure. It also gives the best low contrast resolution and a direct multiplanar imaging which is a distinct advantage from other imaging modality.
  5. Angiography & Interventional Radiography
It is an imaging modality that visualizes the vessels in the human body.
